Welcome to my Website!
Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Joyce Dempsey and i have been painting since 1995. I would like to share with you some projects i have painted either in class, workshops or spare time which can be viewed in my photo centre.
I am a member of the Society of Folk & Decorative Artists of Victoria, The Echuca/Moama Artists as well as a Decoart Helping Artist and Traditions Teacher.
I conduct folk art and decorative painting classes in my home studio during the week and hold workshops with visiting artists - see my workshop page.
April and October of each year Kathy Prestegar and myself conduct a painting weekend in Heathcote, central Victoria. Each weekend will be distinguished by a Fawlty Towers quirky title. Our next weekend will be held Friday 17th April until Sunday 19th April. Our theme is "T" PARTY, for which we invite participants to dress up on the saturday night to the theme of "Tea" or ANYTHING relating to the letter "T". Lots of fun to be had!
My home studio stocks a selection of paint supplies, brushes, books, mediums and wood. If i don't stock an item i will endeavour to get it for you.
